Queenstown Casual Day gives @1965Ride fundraising a boost

On Thursday 14 February, a range of Queenstown schools and business opted for the casual look to support the 1965Ride fund raising efforts.

The brainchild of avid cyclists and 1965Riders Clint le Roux and Leon Annandale, Queens College Junior and Senior schools and Balmoral Girl’s school swopped their uniforms for civvies. Participating businesses were Queens Motor Spares, WG Mica, De Waal & Baxter Attorneys, Metcalf & Sahd, Charters & Barnes accountants, Queenstown Spar, Border Fuel, Stateline Pressed Metal and Julie de Bruin. A total of R8 785 was raised. A few other companies have said they will host their own casual day over the next few weeks.

Congrats to Clint and Leon on organising this fund raiser.
