New sponsors already on board for 2013

This past week has been a good one for the 1965Ride.

Firstly Mike Dovey and Bruce Pitt confirmed the continued support of Ford and Mazda Pretoria East and GM Isando respectively. This is terrific news because trying to do the ride without support is almost impossible to contemplate. All we need is a team of support drivers. Any suggestions?

Then, through his network, Bruce Pitt has managed to get a Jurgens Trailer donated for the ride. Having a trailer helps to carry all the katunda that us cyclists seem to need to take along with us. Thanks so much Bruce and we look forward to thanking the Jurgens folks in person.

Our first sponsorship is on! Many thanks to the Red Cap Foundation. This is the CSI arm of the Mr Price Group. We are thrilled and grateful. We are most definitely on the way.

Earlier The DAWN Group confirmed that they will once again this year have us as their dedicated Charity for the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge. It is really good to know that we have such good friends and supporters. It is people like these, along with the kids that benefit from our efforts, that make our pedalling so worthwhile.

We will be sending out the Registration and Sponsorship forms towards the end of this week.

Let us really do our very best to raise R1 million this year.

Winter is coming to its end. This is a very good time it get out and riding.

Make a note of the dates for next year’s 1965Ride: 10 – 18 April 2013.

Come and ride with us
